The sadness starts at the end of August I can feel the sun retreating south, short days, cooler nights.  I have from about Thanksgiving until February.  Then out of no where the little green fingers of life start to poke through the ground.

Our world has changed so much over the last fifty years.  I think back to when I was a kid and we didn’t have a care in the world.  I remember how much fun it was to use a rotary phone.  I would see how fast I could dial a number.  Then came the push button phone.  Wow we were moving up in the world.  Then came the first cellphones.  They were heavy and didn’t have the best reception.  I traveled between New Hampshire and Vermont the reception was sporadic and I had to keep redialing hoping I would get better connection.  The phones got smaller, the data plans cost more and here we are today.
